We have a baby :)

I just wanted to let you all know that today Alise delivered our beautiful baby girl. Makaila was born at 5:34PM and weighed 6lbs 14oz, and measured 19.5 inches. Makaila and Alise are doing great, in fact at this moment Alise is sleeping. It has been an exciting and wonderful day. Thank you all for praying for us. We really appreciate it. Here are some photo’s and I am sure in the next several days there will be more. God Bless!

Thanks for the photos, they are all great, and I like each of them for different reasons.
1-the first photo is the first Mason family picture, how cool.
2-the second one, with just Alise and Makaila, I like how happy Alise looks, and how small Makaila looks
3-I like Chad looking through the glass at Makaila, it’s like he’s in awe of your new child.
4-and I like the fourth because it gives me a close up of Makaila, and I’m just wondering which parts of each of you she will grow into.
PS - it seems like the bow might be growing on Makaila…

Every couple thinks their own baby is just the most beautiful baby in the world, even though everyone else might hold a different opinion; I suppose that’s a good thing, but funny none the less. So, please allow an unbiased outsider to reinforce to you that Makaila really, really IS an incredibly beautiful baby. In fact, if it weren’t for her small size and the greasy hair and eyes, I’d find it hard to believe that such a gorgeous baby could possibly be a newborn. So, when people (you know, like everyone you meet every single place you go) compliment you on how beautiful your baby is….never doubt that all of them are being completely honest.
I can picture you with her, and I know she’ll have a great dad as she grows up. Between you and Alise, she’ll have a healthy balance of leadership in the home. Felicidades, y que Dios les bendiga de todo.
