Vida Nueva Ministries

Roger and Carol Hargraves live in a small town outside of Beaumont, TX.  Roger is a full time engineer and Carol a full time 4th grade teacher.  They had volunteered in the home for many years before Leroy Dennis (founder of Vida Nueva) asked them to consider taking over leadership of the home.  Since 2005 they have served as the primary fundraiser and liaison to American Churches.  Roger has organized and taken many American teams to the home. 

Director Vida Nueva Children’s Home Karina Estrada

Karina was the first child that Leroy and Glenda took into the home in 1992.  She has been running the home for the last 5 years virtually alone.  She gets up most mornings at 6:00 AM to start laundry and make breakfast for the children.  She is incredible!  Imagine caring for up to 16 children on your own.

Benjamin is married and has three small children.

Luerdes is Karina’s mother.  She and her husband Juan Manuel live in one of the larger ranches outside of Parras.  Since having Karina in the home years ago their lives have changed a great deal.  Then they could not afford to put Karina into school.  Today their lives are very different, and they are leaders in the ranch that they are from. Their family is an example in the community of the power of Christ to transform lives.

Chad & Alise have been missionaries at Vida Nueva since June 1st, 2008.  They weekly assist in the daily needs around the house from cooking, cleaning, driving, and also serve by communicating  regularly with the various Churches and individuals that support Vida Nueva.  Chad served as the Pastor of Missions for 6 years at Northlake Christian Church in Bothell, WA before transitioning to the Ministry of Vida Nueva.
