Vida Nueva; Nueva Esperanza Ministries is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization. At this time our ministry exists in the form of a Children’s Home located in Parras de la Fuente, Mexico. There are 16 children in our home. These children ranging in age from 6-23 are children from low income families. Often relatives or government officials refer them to the home because of the high risk situation that these children deal with. They are at the home voluntarily, and can leave if they choose. To live in the home they and thier family agreed and adhere to the rules of the home. Vida Nueva was established in 1994 by Leroy and Glenda Dennis, who had a vision for helping the community. There are currently 16 kids in the home; the number fluctuates depending on the situation of the families. It is currently directed by Karina Estrada, who grew up at Vida Nueva, and now lives there with her son Betin. The home is operated and overseen by Roger and Carol Hargraves, who live in Beaumont, Texas, only a 13 hour drive from Parras. In June 2008, the care of the home will transfer to Chad and Alise Mason. Chad is currently the Missions and Outreach Pastor at Northlake Church. They will be working to develop new Christian leaders, and to disciple the children and other adults in the community. They will be initiating new ministries to provide for the children more specifically, as well as for the young adults in the area.
